Then CAD model for forgings will be generated in Pro/ENGINEER.
3) Process parameter design module: In the process parameter design dialog box, enter the height to diameter ratio of the preform 22, the system calculates the design size of the preform: the volume is 4148958 (mm) 3; the height is 6347 mm; the diameter is 2885 mm. Then In the selection dialog box for the calculation of the pendulum force and the tonnage of the equipment, enter the corresponding parameters, and the system will display the pendulum machine (a) that should select the corresponding tonnage.
At this point, the system has completed the main task. The system is designed to be used to manufacture star gears and HT-130 planetary gears. After inspection, the manufacturer's precision design requirements were met and the actual production was put into production.
Conclusion The GearCAD/CAPP20 system provides a complete computer-aided design method for the development of common gear precision forming processes and corresponding model generation. It integrates CAD and CAPP into one functional module.
The Fukang sedan planetary gears and HT-130 planetary gears designed and manufactured using this system have been tested to meet the manufacturer's design requirements for accuracy.
It should also be more integrated. The system can also store and read the model tree features of a part in the form of a database, then project its three-dimensional graphics into a two-dimensional map, and then automatically generate a two-dimensional map with AutoCAD.
