Recently, OceanSaver received a contract to install the Mark II Ballast Water Treatment (BWT) system for Engie's LNG ship.
OceanSaver's Mark II ballast water treatment system will be retrofitted to the "Provalys" LNG ship operated by Gazocean.
Alan Linderoth, vice president of marketing and sales at OceanSaver, pointed out, "We believe that the signing of the contract is an endorsement of our experience in modifying LNG ships and hopes to achieve the project with the highest industry standards."
OceanSaver noted that in addition to fully meeting regulatory, standards and certification requirements, the Mark II ballast water treatment system combines high-efficiency filtration with disinfection by installing patented electrodialysis and flexible systems.
Engie's LNG ship is equipped with two Mark II ballast water treatment systems with a capacity of 3,000 m3/hour.
Benjamin Pettersson, Sales Manager at OceanSave, stated, “The simplified retrofit concept we installed has been highly positive feedback from users. The modular nature of the Mark II ballast water treatment system allows it to be retrofitted. Has a small footprint."
OceanSave's Mark II ballast water treatment system will be delivered in 2016.
