Mr. Mehta, chairman of the India Composites Promotion Center, recently announced that a group of Indian business representatives will visit China early next year to explore procurement opportunities. This follows his attendance at the 11th China Composites Exhibition in Guangzhou in September, where he and a team from the Composite Materials Promotion Center conducted a follow-up business trip to China.
According to information from the China Epoxy Resin Industry Association, Mr. Mehta visited several leading composite materials companies in Shanghai and Beijing to discuss potential collaborations. He also toured manufacturing facilities in Jiangxi and other regions, gaining firsthand insights into China's advanced production capabilities.
Mr. Mehta emphasized that both China and India are experiencing rapid growth in the composite materials sector, with shared interests and complementary strengths. He believes there is a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two countries. The India Composites Promotion Center aims to deepen exchanges with its Chinese counterparts and foster stronger ties in the industry.
In addition, it has been reported that the Indian Composite Materials Promotion Center has signed an agreement with Guangzhou Yifan Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. to participate in the 2nd Guangzhou Fiberglass Industry and Composite Materials Exhibition scheduled for March next year. During this event, an inspection tour by an Indian business delegation focused on procurement and collaboration will also take place.
This growing engagement highlights the increasing interest from Indian businesses in leveraging China’s technological advancements and industrial scale, while also opening new avenues for mutual development in the global composites market.
