The Buffalo Grove, Lincolnshire-Riverwoods, and Long Grove Fire Departments recently spent several nights at the Combined Area Fire Training Center in Buffalo Grove, rotating crews through a flashover training prop. The hands-on experience is essential for firefighters to understand the rapid heat buildup and dangerous conditions that can occur during a fire.
