The reporter learned from the seminar that the National Tire Rim Standardization Technical Committee (National Rotary Committee) has set a timetable for the development of tire-related technical standards.
According to the relevant person in charge of the National Rotary Committee, starting from the second half of 2014, the rotation committee will begin to draft a test draft of snow, wet and noise, and accumulate data; at the end of 2015, tire slip and noise limit will be completed. The draft of the standard value will be submitted; in 2016, the application for the mandatory standards for tire rolling resistance, wet slip and noise limit will begin.
Regarding the grading standards for tire rolling resistance, wet slip, and noise, the Wheel Standards Committee will begin the tire rolling resistance test from March 2015 to accumulate data; at the same time, extensively carry out wet slip, noise testing, and accumulate more test data, and Select some representative tire specifications to be sent abroad for testing and data comparison analysis; it is expected to complete the draft grading standard in the first half of 2016; in the second half of 2016, the draft for comments, draft for review and approval for submission will be completed.
At present, China's technical standards for automobile tires only have rolling resistance limit standards (GB/T 29042-2012). Tire World Network has reported that in the first half of this year, the country established China's automotive tire laboratory test network, and identified seven car tire rolling resistance test comparison laboratory.
As early as the 2011 National People's Congress, Ding Yuhua, Chairman of the Triangle Group, submitted the “Recommendations on Strengthening the Construction of Technical Regulations and Standards for the Tire Industry”. In June of that year, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine replied to the proposal: “The National Standards Committee will increase the revision of the tire industry standards during the 'Twelfth Five-Year Plan' period.
