Congratulations to Chief Wayne Hanson and the entire team at the Village of Summit, Illinois Fire Department on the arrival of their brand-new 2018 Wheeled Coach F550 Type 1 ambulance! This beauty is packed with top-of-the-line features like Whelen M series warning lights, interior LED illumination, the Stryker Power Load system, Liquid Spring Suspension, and an ergonomic, safety-focused interior design. With these upgrades, the Summit FD will continue delivering exceptional front-line medical care and transportation services to their community. Interestingly, this is the second Wheeled Coach Type 1 ambulance they’ve added to their fleet, and we’re thrilled to see their ongoing trust in this brand.
