On August 1, 2012, auto parts supplier Delphi Motors Corp. (DLPH) released a wealth report on Tuesday that its second-quarter net profit rose 11%, benefiting from cost cuts, despite lower revenue. The company lowered its full-year revenue forecast from 16.2 billion to 16.5 billion U.S. dollars to 15.6 billion to 15.9 billion U.S. dollars, which is lower than the average analyst estimate of 16.25 billion U.S. dollars. However, the company raised its full-year earnings forecast to 3.68-3.91 US dollars from the previous 3.63-3.85 US dollars. The average analyst estimate is $3.68.
